Description

The project is currently owned by Wisconsin Power and Light.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil.

The project generated 2,839,949MWh of electricity.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in June 2004.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Wisconsin Power and Light under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 500MW.

Contractors Involved

The Gas fired project have been supplied by GE Power and Siemens.

Siemens supplied electric generator for the project.

Nooter/Eriksen supplied steam boiler for the project.
