Description

The project was developed by EDF Renewables Canada. The project is co-owned by DIM WIND and EDF Renewables Canada, with their respective ownership stake of 42.5% each.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 70,700 households.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Hydro-Quebec under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2014. The contracted capacity is 350MW.

Contractors involved

Riviere du Moulin (Riviere du Moulin Phase 1) is equipped with Senvion turbines. The phase consists of 75 turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Riviere du Moulin (Riviere du Moulin Phase 2) is equipped with Senvion turbines. The phase consists of 100 turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.

EDF Renewable Services is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2014.

LM Wind Power (Canada) and Marmen have supplied towers for the project.

The rotor blades have been supplied by LM Wind Power (Canada).
