Oglethorpe Power and Georgia Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 74.6% and 25.4% respectively.
Rocky Mountain Hydro is a pumped storage project.

Contractors Involved
Hitachi Mitsubishi Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 282.6MW nameplate capacity.
Hitachi Mitsubishi Hydro supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 361 MVA.
