Description
The project was developed by ESCO Pacific and is currently owned by Palisade Investment Partners with a stake of 100%.
Ross River Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 202 hectares.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 54,000 households, offsetting 230,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $179.954m.
The project consists of 417,662 modules.
Development Status
The project construction commenced in 2017 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in December 2018.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to EnergyAustralia under a power purchase agreement for a period of 13 years. The contracted capacity is 92.8MW.
Contractors Involved
Downer EDI was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
The project is utilising horizontal single axis trackers supplied by Array Technologies.
Downer EDI is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
