The project is currently owned by PNG Power.
Rouna (Rouna 2) underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2009.
Rouna (Rouna 1) consists of 1 turbine with 1.9MW nameplate capacity.
Rouna (Rouna 2) consists of 2 turbines with 6MW nameplate capacity.
The Rouna (Rouna 2) has 2 electric generators installed at the site.
Contractors Involved
Dongfang Electric was selected to render EPC services for the Rouna (Rouna 1).
Rouna (Rouna 2) is equipped with Andritz Hydro turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines, each with 7.9MW nameplate capacity.
Andritz Hydro supplied 3 electric generators for the Rouna (Rouna 2). The generator capacity is 10 MVA.
