Description

ENGIE North America and Catamount Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 66.9% and 33.1% respectively.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood chips which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project got commissioned in September 1992.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Vermont Electric Power Producers under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

GE Power was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 1 turbine with 21.5MW nameplate capacity.

Riley Power supplied steam boiler for the project.
