Description
The project is currently owned by InnoVent.
Sakal Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 40 hectares.
The project generates 41,800MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 200,000 households, offsetting 22,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $53.326m.
The project consists of 62,100 modules.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in June 2018.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Senegal National Electricity Agency under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 17MW.
Contractors Involved
InnoVent was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Delta Electronics supplied 354 inverters to the project site.
