Description

The project was developed by Atlas Energia Renovavel do Brasil, Renova Energia and SunEdison. The project is currently owned by Atlas Energia Renovavel do Brasil with a stake of 100%.

Sao Pedro II Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project generates 65,745MWh of electricity. The project cost is $34.104m.

Development Status

The project construction commenced in 2017 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in December 2018.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Camara de Comercializacao de Energia Eletrica under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.085kWh for a period of 20 years.

Contractors Involved

The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by Canadian Solar and Jinko Solar.

GE Renewable Energy supplied its LV5 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Convert Italia.
