Statkraft , Agder Energi and Skagerak Energi are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 72%, 6.01% and 1.49% respectively.

Saurdal is a pumped storage project. The project generated 952 GWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved

Andritz Hydro was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of pump turbines, each with 160MW nameplate capacity.
