Description
The project was developed by American Capital Energy. Bright Plain Renewable Energy and D E Shaw and are currently owning the project.
Searchlight Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 250 acres.
The project generates 45,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,600 households. The project cost is $50m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in December 2014.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to NV Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Signal Energy Constructors was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 70,525 modules at the site.
Signal Energy Constructors and Swinerton Renewable Energy were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
