The project is currently owned by Korea Western Power with a stake of 100%.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant that is used for Peakload.
Development Status
The project construction commenced in 1990 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in November 1992.
Contractors Involved
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 8 steam turbines, each with 75MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
