The project is currently owned by Huaneng Power International with a stake of 56%.
The project generates 95,136MWh electricity thereby offsetting 102,318t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $73.2m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to State Grid Shandong Electric Power under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
PowerChina Nuclear Engineering was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Suzlon Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 32 units of S82-1.5 MW turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
