Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge is a 204.2MW offshore wind power project. The project is located in East China Sea, Shanghai, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in June 2010.

Description

The project was developed by Shanghai Dong Hai Wind Power. China Datang, China Guangdong Nuclear Wind Power and China Power International New Energy Holding are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 28%, 24% and 24% respectively.

The wind turbines in the Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge I are installed on fixed foundations. An array of high-rise pile cap foundations feature in the phase.

The wind turbines in the Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge IIA are installed on fixed foundations. An array of gravity foundations feature in the phase.

The wind turbines in the Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge IIB are installed on fixed foundations. An array of gravity foundations feature in the phase.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in June 2010.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to East China Grid under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge (Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge I) is equipped with Sinovel Wind Group SL3000/90 turbines. The phase consists of 34 turbines with 3MW nameplate capacity.

Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge (Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge IIA) is equipped with Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment W 3600 turbines. The phase consists of 27 turbines with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.

Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge (Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge IIB) is equipped with Sinovel Wind Group SL5000 turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 5MW nameplate capacity.

Sinovel Wind Group is the O&M contractor for the Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge (Shanghai Dong Hai Bridge I). The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2010, for a period of 5 years.
