Description

The project was developed by Alterra Power and Horn Wind. The project is co-owned by Alterra Power and Starwood Energy Group Global, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project generates 790,100MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 60,000 households. The project cost is $372.621m.

Development Status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2015.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Citigroup Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 13 years, starting from 2015.

Contractors Involved

M. A. Mortenson was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 119 units of 1.7-103 turbines, each with 1.71MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2015.
