Description
The project was developed by Borrego Solar Systems and Sustainable Power Group. Alberta Investment Management, The AES, StepStone Group and ULLICO are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 26%, 26%, 24% and 24% respectively.
Shoreham Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 60 acres.
The project generates 19,061MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 2,485 households, offsetting 14,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
30 inverters have been installed at the project site.
Development status
The project got commissioned in May 2016.
Contractors involved
Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 46,911 modules at the site.
Swinerton Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
