Description
The project is developed and owned by Mitsui and SB Energy. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
Softbank Kumamoto Arao Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 27.8 hectares.
The project generates 21,896MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 6,000 households. The project cost is $49.742m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in February 2015.
Contractors Involved
Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Toshiba was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 89,586 modules at the site.
The inverters were procured from Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems for the project.
The mounting systems have been supplied by Hilti for the project.
Mitsui is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
