Sol do Setao Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1,000 hectares.

The project generates 1,150GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 580,000 households, offsetting 465,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2020 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in October 2021.

Contractors involved

LONGi Solar Technology was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 1,075,200 modules at the site.

Sungrow Power supplied 122 of its SG3125HV-20 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising dual axis trackers supplied by STI Norland.
