The project is developed and owned by WElink Energy UK.

Solara 4 Vaqueiros Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 320 hectares.

The project generates 380,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 200,000 households, offsetting 177,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

125 inverters have been installed at the project site.

The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in September 2021.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Audax Renovables under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

China Triumph International Engineering was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Jetion Solar (China) was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 660,000 modules at the site.
