The project is developed and owned by evn Naturkraft Erzeugungsgesellschaft.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 28,000 households. The project cost is $59.73m.
The Sommerein Wind Farm (Sommerein Wind Farm I), has 140m high towers.
The Sommerein Wind Farm (Sommerein Wind Farm II), has 137m high towers.
