Sumgait Combined Cycle Power Plant is a 506.4MW gas fired power project. It is located in Absheron, Azerbaijan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in November 2009.

The project is currently owned by Azerenergy.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel. The fuel is procured from Karadakh.
The project generated 3,543,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $403.32m.
The project got commissioned in November 2009.
Siemens was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 1 steam turbine with 187.6MW nameplate capacity.
