The project is currently owned by Sun Metals.
Sun Metals Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 130 hectares.
The project generates 270,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 248,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $294m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in May 2018.
Contractors Involved
RCR Tomlinson was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 1,167,000 modules at the site.
