Grupo Energia Bogota and Enel Americas are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51.51% and 48.48% respectively.
Tequendama is a run-of-river project. The project generated 127.81 GWh of electricity.

The project got commissioned in 2004.

Voith Hydro Holding was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 turbines, each with 14.2MW nameplate capacity.
