Description
The project was developed by Thorold CoGen and is currently owned by Northland Power with a stake of 100%.
It is a CCGT with Cogen power plant.
The project cost is $520m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in March 2010.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 236.4MW.
Contractors Involved
Vk Mason Construction was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
The Gas fired project have been supplied by GE Power and Siemens.
GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
GE Power supplied steam boiler for the project.
