Turen More is a 350MW hydro power project. It is planned on Chitral river/basin in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2022.

Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization.

The gross head and net head of the project will be 150.25m and 127.41m respectively. The penstock length will be 65m. The penstock diameter will be 8.5m. The project is expected to generate 1,534.93 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $705.441m.

The hydro power project consists of 4 units of francis turbines.

The project has 4 electric generators that will be installed at the project site.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2022.
