Description

Turkey Point 6 is a Generation III+ nuclear reactor.

The 1,250MW reactor is currently owned and will be operated by Florida Power & Light. The company has a stake of 100%.

Turkey Point 6 is a type of PWR reactor. It will feature 157 fuel assemblies in the core of reactor, the place where fission occurs and energy is released. The project cost is expected to be around $6,736.25m.

Development Status

Post completion of construction, the reactor is planned to get commission in 2027.
