It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.
The project got commissioned in August 2012.
The Israel Electric was selected to render EPC services for the dual-fuel fired power project.
The Dual-Fuel fired project have been supplied by Ansaldo Energia and GE Power.
Vogt Power International supplied steam boiler for the project.
