The project is currently owned by Enel with a stake of 100%.
Villa St. Maria is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 24.3 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 429.5m. Villa St. Maria underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1979. The project generated 228.68 GWh of electricity.
