Vulcan Solar Project is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 960 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 12,000 households, to offset 85,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $99.588m.
The solar power project consists of 300,000 modules, each with 370W nameplate capacity.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
