Description

The project is currently owned by Wakayama Kyodo Power.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is blast furnace gas. In case of shortage of blast furnace gas the plant can also run on Coke Oven Gas. The fuel is procured from Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation.
