The project is currently owned by EIG Global Energy Partners with a stake of 100%.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant.
Development Status
The project construction commenced in 2008 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2013.
Contractors Involved
EDF Energy Holdings and Kier Construction were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 6 turbines.
STF supplied steam boiler for the West Burton B CCGT Power Station (West Burton B CCGT Power Station Block I).
