Description
The project is currently owned by UPM-Kymmene.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Black liquor which is a kind of industrial waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors Involved
Poyry was selected to render EPC services for the biopower project.
Siemens was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 1 unit of SST-800 turbine with 143MW nameplate capacity.
Andritz supplied steam boiler for the project.
