Description
The project was developed by Avantus, Saferay Holding and Sustainable Power Group. Alberta Investment Management, The AES, StepStone Group and ULLICO are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 26%, 26%, 24% and 24% respectively.
Woodmere Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 80 acres.
The project generates 36,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 6,750 households, offsetting 40,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
The project got commissioned in December 2015.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Pacific Gas and Electric under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
