Yellow River Wind Project, Ireland

Yellow River Wind Project is a 105MW onshore wind power project. It is planned in Leinster, Ireland. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.

Description

The project is being developed by Green Wind Energy and SSE Renewables (Ireland). The project is currently owned by SSE Renewables (Ireland) with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 252,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 2,476.574 households. The project is expected to offset 80,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $136m.

The wind power project consists of 29 turbines.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.
