Yinpan is a 600MW hydro power project. It is located on Wujiang river/basin in Chongqing, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2004 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2011.

Description
The project was developed by Datang Chongqing Wulong Hydropower Development. Datang International Power Generation, Chongqing Dingtai Energy (Group) and Chongqing Shipping Construction Development are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 24.5% and 24.5% respectively.
Yinpan is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 320 million cubic meter. The project generated 2,690 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $930m.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to State Grid Corporation of China under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Zhefu Holding Group was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of kaplan turbines, each with 150MW nameplate capacity.
ZHEFU Holding Group supplied electric generator(s) for the project.
