Global coffee company Starbucks has collaborated with Cypress Creek Renewables and the US Bank on a series of solar projects in Texas, US.

The two solar farms developed and operated by Cypress Creek will supply clean energy to power 360 Starbucks stores across Texas.

Located in Wharton and Blossom, two Cypress Creek-owned solar farms will supply 10MW of solar power to Starbucks stores across the state.

Engie Resources has agreed to provide full retail energy requirements, including a simple retail energy supply contract.

Starbucks has also agreed to invest in six solar farms with a combined capacity 50MW in Texas, which are also owned by Cypress Creek. The eight solar projects will help lower carbon emissions by an estimated 101,000t annually.
