Rebel Energy has announced plans to build a new energy company with a unique operational structure using Cloud technology from UK-based company Blue Prism.
A statement by Rebel Energy said it plans to ‘reinvent the definition of an energy supplier’ by using a scalable digital workforce and aiming for a positive impact on the communities it serves.
The company said it aims to deliver excellent customer service while keeping costs low. It will do this via Blue Prism’s intelligent automation platform, which it says will enable it to reimagine existing complicated industry processes and procedures.
A company spokesperson said this approach ‘will allow Rebel Energy to run with the efficiency needed to develop a sustainable and digital-first business’.
By leveraging a software-as-a-service digital workforce to simplify and automate its back-end processes, Rebel Energy claimed that it will be able to focus on recruiting ‘a best-in-class customer servicing team’.
Blue Prism is a multinational software company that develops automation solutions for enterprises. Its products are used by more than 1,800 businesses in over 150 countries.
Rebel Energy will leverage an advanced suite of artificial intelligence and automation capabilities to boost innovation in order to benefit customers.
