Trimark Associates has won a contract to monitor and maintain 11 utility-scale solar sites of Clearway Energy Group, a Global Infrastructure Partners’ (GIP) company.

Based in New York, US, Clearway is a full-scope renewable energy company that develops, owns, and operates solar and wind energy projects across the country.

The contract also covers maintenance for California Independent System Operator (CAISO) revenue meters and remote intelligent gateways (RIGs). The 11 Clearway utility-scale solar sites range from 5MW to 300MW.

Clearway Energy planner and scheduler James Fenolio said: “We remain committed to the highest standards of compliance across the company.

The contract scope includes equipment replacements, remote troubleshooting, emergency support services, meter calibrations and RIG certifications.

Additionally, Trimark Operations Center (TOC) enables real-time monitoring of the RIGs in for ongoing connectivity with CAISO.

The company claims that its TOC has been designed to identify failures and root causes. It also raises service tickets and/or customer notifications automatically to resolve any issue in short order.

Last month, Clearway Energy Group started construction on the Mesquite Star wind farm, located in Fischer and Nolan counties in Texas, US.

Mizuho-led bank group comprising KeyBank, MUFG and Santander have agreed to a loan grant to finance the construction of the wind farm.
