There were 57 power plant tenders announced in the Asia-Pacific region in September 2019, marking a drop of 42% over the last 12-month average of 98, according to GlobalData’s power industry tenders database.

T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Asia-Pacific region in September 2019 with 222 tenders and a 51.3% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 79 tenders and an 18.2% share and Generation Equipment with 65 tenders and a 15% share during the month.

The top issuers of power plant tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved in Asia-Pacific were:
