Europe generation equipment tenders activity up 11% in Q3 2020

There were 51 generation equipment tenders announced in the Europe region in Q3 2020, marking a rise of 11% over the last 12-month average of 46, according to GlobalData’s power industry tenders database.

T&D Project stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in Q3 2020 with 83 tenders and a 24.7% share, followed by T&D Equipment with 81 tenders and a 24.1% share and Power Plant with 81 tenders and a 24.1% share during the quarter.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 32 tenders and a 62.7% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 19 tenders and a 37.3% share.

Thermal is top technology for Europe generation equipment tenders in Q3 2020
