Europe T&D equipment tenders activity up 21% in August 2020
There were 23 T&D equipment tenders announced in the Europe region in August 2020, marking a rise of 21% over the last 12-month average of 19, according to GlobalData’s power industry tenders database.

Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Europe region in August 2020 with 27 tenders and a 22.9% share, followed by T&D Project with 27 tenders and a 22.9% share and T&D Equipment with 23 tenders and a 19.5% share during the month.
The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was:Supply & Erection with 23 tenders and a 100% share.
Thermal is top technology for Europe T&D equipment tenders in August 2020
Looking at T&D equipment tenders by the type of technology in the Europe region, thermal accounted for two tenders with a 66.7% share, followed by wind with one tender and a 33.3% share.
