Comparing tenders activity in generation equipment segment in different regions of the globe, North America held the top position with 75 tenders and a share of 53.6% during May 2020, followed by Asia-Pacific with 40 tenders and a 28.6% share and Europe with 18 tenders and a 12.9% share.

Among the technologies, thermal accounted for 121 tenders with an 86.4% share, followed by solar with 12 tenders and an 8.6% share and hydro with five tenders and a 3.6% share.
The top issuer of generation equipment tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved was:Coordination SUD with 0.02MW from one tender.
