Middle East and Africa power plant tenders activity up 67% in February 2021

There were 30 power plant tenders announced in the Middle East and Africa region in February 2021, marking a rise of 67% over the last 12-month average of 18, according to GlobalData’s power industry tenders database.

T&D Equipment stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the Middle East and Africa region in February 2021 with 106 tenders and a 54.4% share, followed by Power Plant with 30 tenders and a 15.4% share and T&D Project with 27 tenders and a 13.8% share during the month.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:
