North America solar technology tenders in June 2021 saw 25 tenders announced, marking a rise of 32% over the last 12-month average of 19, according to GlobalData’s power industry tenders database.

The proportion of solar technology tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation with 17 tenders and a 68% share
  2. Supply & Erection: three tenders and a 12% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: two tenders and an 8% share
  4. Consulting & Similar Services: two tenders and an 8% share
  5. Power Purchase Agreement: one tender and a 4% share.

The US tops North America solar power tenders activity

The US was the top country in the North America region for solar technology tenders recorded in June 2021 with 13 tenders and a 52% share, followed by Canada with 12 tenders and a 48% share.

The top issuers of tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved in North America were:
