T&D project tenders in November 2020 saw 138 tenders announced, marking a drop of 49% over the last 12-month average of 271, according to GlobalData’s power industry tenders database.

The proportion of tenders by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 86 tenders and a 62.3% share
  2. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: 43 tenders and a 31.2% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: nine tenders and a 6.5% share.

Asia-Pacific leads T&D project activity in November 2020

Comparing tenders activity in T&D project segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 105 tenders and a share of 76.1% during November 2020, followed by Europe with 15 tenders and a 10.9% share and North America with nine tenders and a 6.5% share.

Solar is leading technology for T&D project tenders in November 2020
