Description

The project is developed and owned by China Longyuan Power Group and China Suntien Green Energy. The company’s ownership stake in the project stands as 55% and 45% respectively.

The project generates 114,250MWh electricity thereby offsetting 108,560t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $76.725m.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2010.

Contractors Involved

Envision Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 33 units of EN15-82 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

It manages, develops and operates wind power plants and generates electric power for sale to external power grid companies. China Suntien has wind power projects in Hebei, Shanxi, Xinjiang, Shandong, Yunnan and Inner Mongolia. It has natural gas transmission and ancillary facilities in Hebei Province.
