Description

The project was developed by Guangxi Ruidong Investment and Guangxi Water & Electric Power Construction Group. The project is currently owned by Guangxi Ruidong Investment with a stake of 100%.

Lalang is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 112 million cubic meter. Lalang underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2006-2009. The project generated 38 GWh of electricity.

The project construction commenced in 1966 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1971.

The power generated from the project is sold to China Southern Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.
