The construction of a 45MW solar photovoltaic project in Bulgaria has started as the result of a partnership between NEOptions, the Bulgarian Development Collaborative, and SDN.

The $200m project consists of a 20MW solar photovoltaic installation and a 25MW installation in the villages of Samovodene and Zlataritsa, of which 5MW is completed.

NEOptions will prepare the solicitation materials, project description and initial engineering to attract a viable investor for the project.

It will also be responsible for site selection, land acquisition, and securing necessary permits and approvals.
