Vestas to Supply Turbines for Brazilian Wind Projects

Vestas will supply 75 turbines amounting to 150MW to Energisa for five wind power projects in Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil. Turbines with 2MW unit capacity will be used for Ventos de Sao Miguelm, Renascença I, Renascença II, Renascença III and Renascença IV project in

Vestas will supply 75 turbines amounting to 150MW to Energisa for five wind power projects in Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil.

Turbines with 2MW unit capacity will be used for Ventos de Sao Miguelm, Renascença I, Renascença II, Renascença III and Renascença IV project in Rio Grande.

Under the contract, Vestas will deliver, transport, install and commission the wind turbines.

The firm will also provide its VestasOnline Business SCADA system and a five-year service and maintenance agreement with the Active Output Management package 'AOM 5000'.

AOM 5000 service provides for optimising wind power plant output and reducing customer risk.
