Canada-based Photowatt Ontario has signed a two-year commitment agreement to supply solar modules to a unnamed global supplier of solar power serving the Ontario market.
Under the agreement, Photowatt will supply about 24MW of Ontario-made modules with the potential for volumes to increase by an additional 24MW.
The modules will be produced at ATS Automation Tooling Systems campus in Cambridge Ontario.
The modules designed and manufactured by Photowatt will be marketed under the brand name of the customer and will be fully compliant with Ontario feed-in-tariff (FIT) and Micro FIT programme.
