Industry forum Nuclear Power Europe plans to discuss the after effects of Japan’s recent nuclear disaster during the event being held at Fiera Milano City in Milan, Italy, from 7-9 June 2011.

A panel will examine the repercussions of the Fukushima Daiichi plant accident for Europe’s nuclear renaissance and try to find a solution to stabilise industry.

UK Chatham House’s Associate Fellow (Nuclear Policy) Malcolm Grimston and Societe Generale global head of power Allan Baker will participate in the discussion.

Italian energy minister Stefano Saglia, Ansaldo Nucleare CEO Roberto Adinolfi, RWE Technology CEO Matthias Hartung and World Nuclear Association deputy director general Stephen Kidd will also deliver keynotes and plenary sessions at Nuclear Power Europe 2011.
